What Is Chalk Couture?

Hi, there I am Gretchen. I am an Independent Designer with Chalk Couture.

Today, I'm going to talk to you about What even IS Chalk Couture? How can it help YOU?!

Chalk Couture is a direct sales company but don’t let that freak you out!  CC is the leader in high end DIY home décor. Utilizing the reusable silk screen transfers, you  can make your own home décor!

I discovered Chalk Couture at the end of 2020 as I was searching for a creative outlet – with no intention of starting a business but just to find a way to be creative utilizing products from a company.  It had been years since I had created anything on my own and I wanted something that would allow me to find my creative side again. I started a Google search one day and looked at numerous companies – but ultimately decided CC was the one!

Let’s start with the direct sales issue -

YES, CC is a direct sales company – I didn’t want to be part of a direct sales business (been there done that and I am NOT a sales person). What makes CC different is that you can use the products and you have a complete and clear Copyright to create and sell products you make. (No direct selling required, unless you choose!). No sales levels required to achieve (unless you want) and no requirement to have a set number of sales/shows….which was right up my alley!

Knowing that I could get 40% and create my own products to sell or give away – I signed up!! I made a few items (for gifts) the first few years as I just couldn’t find the time to be as creative as I wanted to be – but I spent that time establishing my collection of silk screen transfers….and I have A LOT!!

I hope with this blog I can showcase items and show you how easy it is to create and I’ll also share the options for joining CC (if you are interested yourself) as they have a number of options today.

What's the fine print?

The first detail is Chalk Couture does has is a $19.99 monthly fee that pays for your website, your back office, your training, support, your smartphone app. Additionally, that payment is returned as a credit each month so if you don't want the monthly exclusive transfer - you can use that $$ towards another purchase, so you aren't tied to getting the monthly transfer if you prefer not to.

There are no other requirements! There used to be a quarterly purchase value but that has been removed - no monthly quotas or anything that you have to do. They do release brand new transfers every single quarter...so you can imagine my collection today!!
